Naxos Vase - Mossy - 11x8"

The Naxos Vase is inspired by ancient greek vases of the past. The handles are attached and then hand pulled after the vase is thrown on my pottery wheel and allowed to dry to leather hardness. 

Each vase is made to order and takes 2-6 weeks, depending on where I am in the making process. 

Each piece is wheel-thrown, trimmed, finished and dip glazed at our Dover-Foxcroft village studio in Maine. The making of each item entails a variety of individual workings and processes to complete and each step being done by hand adds individual charm.

Our pieces are made with regionally sourced high quality stoneware and our glazes are hand mixed.

Care Instructions:
We always recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your pieces, but they hold up well in the dishwasher and are also microwave safe, lead free, bpa free and pthalate free.
