Tartu Planter - 8x6"

Heaven awaits your plants in my new Tartu planter with it's fine trim lines on the outside that make for a piece with interest of detail. The top outside portion is dip glazed along with the entire interior. There are 5 drainage holes at the bottom to allow your plant roots to breathe and not get root rot. 

Each planter is made to order and takes 2-6 weeks, depending on where I am in the making process. 

Each piece is wheel-thrown, trimmed, finished and dip glazed at our Dover-Foxcroft village studio in Maine. The making of each item entails a variety of individual workings and processes to complete and each step being done by hand adds individual charm.

Our pieces are made with regionally sourced high quality stoneware and our glazes are hand mixed.

Care Instructions:
We always recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your pieces, but they hold up well in the dishwasher and are also microwave safe, lead free, bpa free and pthalate free.
